Poseidon Biotech was an offshoot of its parent company POSEIDON AQUATECH PVT. LTD., an Aquaculture consultancy company started in the year 1995.

The parent company understood the needs of introducing biotechnology to augment productions in aquaculture systems and commenced its research and trials in the year 1999. Smaller trial and trading of biotechnology products lead to the formation of a independent unit, Poseidon Biotech in 2004., which is now a fully grown biotechnology company producing and marketing several products desired by the farming fraternity both in India and abroad.

Poseidon Biotech has a large network of dealers within the country to market its products and a full fledged marketing team to take care of its sales and after-sales services.

Poseidon Biotech has succeeded in producing a few unique products in the field of Bioremediation, converting palm oil mill effluent into compost in Malaysia and Indonesia being the first ventures. Efforts to treat paper mill waste have also yielded fruits and the company is ready to launch its new product in Thailand.

The company is also associated with Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and well known institutions like Anna University and Madras University for strengthening their Research & Development base. The company is constantly upgrading the products with the field expertise available in India and abroad.

Poseidon Biotech has initiated process to produce and launch a few products needed in the field of Agriculture that shall be launched very soon. Poseidon Biotech has also initiated efforts to launch a few products in the field of Poultry & Cattle in the coming years.
